Hi there and welcome to Nutrition Plus!
My name is Violeta Manzano, a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN), a local resident of Weimar, Texas and the owner for this practice. I am a proud small town girl ready to serve my community.
More About Me
It was my love for food and its belief of being a preventative medicine that first sparked my interest in nutrition. Throughout my years of education, I have found I truly enjoy being a part of someone’s journey in simplifying their life by teaching them how to eat nutritious foods without all the stress.
As a registered dietitian, my goal is to empower you to restore your health by embracing simple strategies that are sustainable and practical during different periods of your life.
Nutrition Plus was created because I wanted to offer a service that I felt was missing in the small, rural community of Weimar and surrounding areas. After having my twin boys in August of 2019, I struggled with nourishing my body and it was during that moment I realized that there are very few reliable resources for others in the same predicament or really anyone dealing with their own health struggles. For that reason, I am motivated to provide research-based nutrition information that is unbiased nor influenced by trends to help nourish your body in every stage of life.
I am excited to offer 1-on-1 consulting that provides you nutrition guidance that is specifically designed for YOU because I believe that you should not be put on a one-fits-all-diet.

My goal is to help you become a healthier version of yourself through a non-diet and sustainable approach.
